Every year, Chopard created a watch in honor of the Mille Miglia.

Since 1988, Chopard is the preferred partner of the Mille Miglia, the famous race car collecting vintage vehicles, which takes place from Brescia to Rome and back in mid-May. The factory, one of the last independent, is the main sponsor of the event, but also the official timekeeper.

The Scheufele family personally invested in the competition and it is not uncommon to see Karl-Friedrich, the current co-chairman of the company, or even his father, Karl Scheufele III, honorary president of the firm, driving their cars collection by famous drivers company as Jacky Ickx, a lifelong friend.

This race, considered the most beautiful in the world, is an integral part of the identity of the brand, which at each event shows a limited edition. This year, Chopard is launching a completely redesigned GMT clock. The housing 44 mm diameter steel or pink gold, features a robust automatic movement capable of measuring short time and display the time of the place of origin but also with additional hand completing one revolution dial in twenty-four hours that of a second time zone. This reference, pushers with "mushrooms" and mounted on a conventional rubber bracelet inspired by the drawing of a Dunlop sixties, promises to be a future collector.
