In a message sent by mail to conservationists group Avaaz this Tuesday, October 23, Leonardo DiCaprio, actor committed to the defense of the environment, is calling for "a surge of population" in favor of a marine sanctuary in the Southern Ocean, while negotiations are underway within the Commission for the Protection of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR).
